Using Unified Properties of Data-Flows as a Generic Basis to Describe QoS Parameters

چکیده
This paper introduces a new approach to the description of QoS parameters. As unified properties, events and activities derived from data-streams captured at an edge-system are used in combination with a correlation procedure to describe QoS parameters. This leads to an uniform, layer and protocol independent approach to the description of QoS-parameters which is applicable in the design as well as in the implementation of QoS measurement and management systems.
